Meet the energy punch tea

 

Welcome to my column. We will get to know each other as we get to understand what wonders nature can do for you.

Let’s start with Energy Punch Tea.

The benefits include, well, energy. Then zest, brain power for a long time, stabilised insulin levels during a fast, electrolytes, stops migraine in minutes, minerals for proper absorption and regulation of fluids — especially helps to combat water weight.

The list is endless. But how do prepare it?

Before we go into preparation, have you had your early morning water, EMW? I am the EMW Police on patrol:

Now to our energy tea; you would need:

*Giant mug, jug, flask, teapot

*1 litre boiling water

*2 green tea bags or 1 teaspoon matcha

*1 level teaspoon Green Blend Detox Tea

*50 grams each of either or all: Green Apple, Cucumber, Pineapple

*A handful mint leaves

Preparation

*Pour one level teaspoon Green Blend Detox Tea in the jug or mug.

*Add two Green Tea bags

*Dice the fruit (the tinier you dice, the better you derive) load in the mug

*Pour one litre boiling water into the ingredients

*Cover immediately and allow to infuse for 30 minutes to six 6 hours. (The longer you infuse the more you derive)

Do not bother to sieve out contents, just pour out a drink. You can re-infuse contents in the same method for a milder punch.

Also, you can expand the recipe to twice its size to derive four to eight 50cl drinks spread out throughout the day.

The last one I made, I added a slice of lemon and cinnamon. But if I was fasting, I would not add lemon so it does not aggravate acidity.
